ASSAT is an accredited TESDA Assessment Center conducting competency assessments for National Certificates (NC) across multiple qualifications. Workers and graduates may apply for assessment leading to full TESDA certification.

Under TESDA (Republic Act 7796), ASSAT was reclassified as a TESDA Technology Institution, shifting its mandate from secondary vocational education to competency-based, industry-driven TVET.
